Welcome to OntarioChaser.org. Were you will hopefully soonfind some amazing tornado footage. I've only been chaser for a year with no luck getting a tornado. But I'll get one hopefully this year. This Message box will change when I'm out chasing. Will basicly say currently chasing a storm

Severe Storms Possible today in Southern Ontario, Saturday looks amazing!!!!!

Today there is a slight risk for severe storms in southern ontario. With the main threat being large hail and damaging winds. But dont rule out the chance for a tornado today. I will be heading to Newmarket today for a job interview at 1 pm and after will try a chase anything that I can see. With no radar it will be tough to chase anything.

Above is the outlooks by the SPC for severe storms on Saturday. With a 30% chance over much of southern ontario. Stay tuned to the OSPC on Friday for more information on Saturdays chance of severe weather.

All new Ontario Storm Prediction Center

OntarioChaser.org has added an all new OSPC(Ontario Storm Prediction Center)The aim of this project is to help the great people of Southern Ontario be better prepared for severe weather. I am not trying to compete with Enviroment Canada or anything like that. Its just simply an outlook for severe weather. For now there will be only one day at a time but 2 and 3 day outlooks will soon apear. Go and check out the new Ontario Storm Prediction Center page seen on the home page on the right.

Confirmed F1 tornado hits near London

On June 8th 2008 around 6 pm EST a F1 tornado touched down near the city of London. I had gotten a small look at the storm around 45 minutes after the tornado touched down.By that times there wasnt much left and I headed for home. Then just after I got home a severe thunderstorm hit Tottenham. Video was taken from the Tottenham storm. Right now there is a moderate risk over eastern ontario and southern quebec. With chasing the last 2 days I have called an off day for today. But I feel there will be another chance later in the season.

No chance for tornadoes Today. Massive Hail Producers Possible

Today there is a slight risk of severe storms over Southern Ontario. But the tornado chances are no very high. Large hail and damaging winds will be the main threat. Currently there are severe thunderstorm watches over most of southern Ontario. I will chase if anything pops up. Stay Tuned For Updates.

Severe Weather Possible in Ontario Today

Today looks pretty good for severe weather in Ontario. But the highest risk will be over much of the Central USA today. With a high risk in the Central USA today. I am in the slight risk area for today and will be heading out shortly. Stay tuned for updates.

Severe Weather likely in Kansas, Oklahoma

Today there is a good chance that tornadoes will form in Kansas and Oklahoma. With CAPE values in the 4500-5000 range and 850mb flow at 60-70 knots. Storms that do fire will become tornadic. Today has the potential to have strong long track tornadoes. EF3-EF5 is my prediction for a couple tornadoes. Below you will see todays current outlook for the SPC. See the link for it.

There is a 15% chance for tornadoes today with a hatched area for strong tornadoes. 45% Hail and 30% strong winds. Anybody in Kansas or Oklahoma should be aware and watch there local weather stations for any situation that may happen today. Stay Tuned For Updates

Severe Storms Likely today.

Severe Storms are likely today anywhere in Central USA. With Cape values in the 4000+ j/kg range in Central Texas. Low level shear will be a problem for tornadoes. Plus large hail and damaging winds will be the main threat. The SPC was a moderate risk out for today. See link below.

Tornadovidoes.net storm chasers will be out in the field today. Hopefully that they can get a tornado or a large hail storm. Stay tuned for updates.
